On break until July 31st.
Troops section in progress!
From Page 16, Dark Heresy : Church of the Damned
Did I ever mention the writing in the Dark Heresy books was top notch? Because it is. Check out the entry on the Infantryman's Portable Transcription Device in DH e2 if you've got the manual.
A ship better than Aetta×Talon is Brinton×Bush!
It was funny, but was also a waste of half a page when space for stats for usable stuff was at a premium. It was like when they claimed that no IG regiments used bikes for RR when they had stats for the bikes used in an earlier book.
When Aetta is not scowling her face looks completely different. Good job on the art for that one.
My personal favourite piece of rulebook writing has to be the part in which they mention Castus Grendel.
Poor guy, jesus. ;-;
I haven't read the Dark Heresy book, but my favorite part of the RT manual was the description of the Cyber Mantle.
"This is a framework of metal, wires, and impulse transmitters that is bolted onto your spine and lower ribcage. As you
gain further implants, this mantle acts as a sub-dermal anchorage point. Amongst some servants of the Omnissiah, this
cyber-mantle is often referred to as “the true flesh.” One would have to look beneath the red robes of a Tech-Priest to
discover what a cyber-mantle looks like, and thus no one admits to having seen one."
@Bobert: Personal I find the Calixian Infantryman's Portable Communications Transcription Device and the MkII Calixian Infantryman's Emergency Signalling Device the best descriptions of all the 40k rpg books
Please do not let the Brinton character's image become a damn yaio, I really like him, and I believe that formality and elegance are traits of a great lord. Thank you!
@Inquisidor Boogeyman: Brenton is such a bishōnen
@Inquisidor Boogeyman: Too late
@MosNes: He's /beautiful/ @.@
PLEASE tell me you plan on making that Cain poster a print at some point. I think that would sell! lol
